About our slogan: "Try. Fail. Learn. Succeed." Learning through mistakes -- "the school of hard knocks" -- is a common concept in everyday life, but it is surprisingly absent from most academic curriculum, with the notable exceptions of math and science. The humanities have focused on understanding and proscribing human behavior, perhaps because of the uncontrolled nature of emotional and social mistakes.

Nevertheless, over the past several decades there have been persistent attempts to create learning vehicles which give people the chance to make mistakes, and then learn from their experience.

John Cleese, of "Monty Python", created a famous series of training videos in the 1980's which portrayedthe hilarious consequences of taking the wrong path with such topics as customer service, personal sales and management.
